WOW!!!
thanks andrea :)
^_^ I like it.
I'm tossed up about the whole thing! You so easily flow from the static to the abstract.
It ain't so easy for some of us, but you make it seem so.
Nice piece.
thanks berry, feimi... I started with the darker greens... yesterday I started with the oranges and tans, and well, it didn't turn out like I hoped. I think I'll give it a go today and see if starting with green will do it again. we'll see. take care you guys,
b
The brighter the better for me. This one is great!
Looking more forward to the April Show every day! DANG!
Hey Andrea, don't know if you'll be back to read this... These recent works won't be dry in time for the April Show, but I do have a bumper crop of landscapes that will. I have high hopes for them.

Brian, how much would a painting like this go for at the April Show (if it was going to be there)?
I'll e-mail you andrea.
I couldn't find your e-mail, andrea.
When I stumble on a new facet in my work, like these recent ones indicate, I generally hang onto them for dear life... having them with me connects the dots and points to the future of my art. This one is one I'd keep for myself or give to family in lieu of financial/emotional support heh... I do hope to have these and others (like the landscapes) ready for the Midland in October, but really I'm collecting a 'best of' set for a possible solo show sometime in the future.
thanks for asking, andrea, I'm glad you like it so. Hopefully there will be many more in this vein so I can sell a few. :)
