I liked the first (Mobbers) better but only because it was reminiscent (sp?) of van Gogh's Fourth of July. Nice work, Brian.
and, scary, too.
Well, you are a contempoary and that yer shtuff is looking so good, well, that makes you competition, too.
Which reminds me, has Kevin said anything about digging up a blog space yet?
yeah, I'm going to paint some more on the second one "orange mob" when it dries enough to start going in with pale drying oil. It just isn't doing it for me as much as a couple of my others I've done, including "curling mob" above.
I just e-mailed you concerning Kev.
take care,
brian
the yellows on orange mob are just too hot.
Brian, I'm loving these paintings!! I like the "chunky" way you apply the paint. And the bright colors are totally my style!
I like orange mob just as it is!!
thanks andrea... the yellows on "orange mob" are not as hot in person. trick of the light i guess.
